Privacy Policy

Tintik collects nothing. GÜNES CONSULTING OÜ, which makes Tintik, receives no data from the app: not your notes, not your recordings, not your name or your email address, no analytics and no crash reports.

There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

Your notebooks, with their writing, pictures, recordings and PDFs, are on your device.

If you buy iCloud sync and leave it on, a copy is also kept in the private database of your own iCloud account, under your Apple Account. Apple keeps it for you. We cannot read it, list it or ask Apple for it.

A recording stays in its notebook, on your device, and in your iCloud if you use iCloud sync.

Transcripts are written on your device by Apple's speech recognition. The first time, your device may download Apple's language files from Apple.

Handwriting to text is read on your device by Apple's text recognition.

None of this is sent to us.

• The microphone, only when you start a recording.
• The camera, only when you take a photo for a page.
• Face ID, only if you lock Tintik or a notebook with it. Your device checks your face; Tintik never sees it.
• Photos come from Apple's photo picker: Tintik sees only the photos you choose.

Tintik never keeps a notebook's PIN or password as you typed it. It keeps only a scrambled form of it (a salted hash), from which the PIN or password cannot be found again.

Tintik does not encrypt the notebook itself: your device already encrypts everything stored on it.

Tintik's extras are bought in the App Store. Apple tells Tintik what you bought. Apple does not tell us who you are, and we never see your payment details.

• iCloud sync, to your own iCloud, if you turned it on.
• Your purchases, to the App Store.
• Apple's language files for transcripts, from Apple, the first time they are needed.

Nothing goes to us. Tintik contacts no server of ours. It has no analytics, no advertising and no crash-reporting code of any kind.

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete.

Your notes are yours. You can save any notebook as a PDF, share it or print it.

To delete your notes, delete them in Tintik, or delete the app. If you use iCloud sync, also delete Tintik's data from iCloud in your device's settings (Settings, your name, iCloud).

mobileappsupport.eu counts page views with Vercel Analytics: which page, from which website, from which country, on which kind of device, in totals only. It uses no cookies and builds no profile of you. The app itself has no analytics.

Tintik is made for students of every age and for professionals. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If Tintik ever needed to collect anything, the app would tell you first.
